Integration with MAX

“We have already tested the sensors on Americká Street and in real operation we have been convinced that they really work. Currently, they are able to detect gunshots, panic screams and glass breakage with a very high level of reliability – for example, when a shop window is broken by vandals or thieves. Plzeň received a grant of CZK 550,000 from the Ministry of the Interior for the project of deploying SED detectors for gunshots, panic cries and glass breakage. Security in Plzeň is one of my priorities and I believe that this is another step towards strengthening security in our city”

With JALUD Embedded, we implemented Sound Event Detectors as part of a proof of concept to extend security situational awareness for critical infrastructure and high-risk outpatient facilities of the University Hospital Pilsen. JALUD Embedded’s Sound Event Detectors proved themselves in testing with their unusual accuracy and ability to detect non-standard sounds, simplicity of end-to-end installation and the possibility of creating links to already established integrated security systems. With JALUD Embedded, we are planning a long-term cooperation, which has been perfect so far, and we believe that their technology will significantly expand the situational awareness that will make our hospital even safer!

The detection system was tested after deployment by JALUD Embedded s.r.o. at several locations (with successful detection of actual shooting). This year we are implementing its extension to other locations. The system is integrated with the MKS into one surveillance system and the alarms have become an important source of information for the city/state police in ensuring security in the city environment. The undeniable advantage of this solution is the ability to identify and locate the incident site in real time in map documents and to send the nearest intervention unit to the scene of the incident, while monitoring the surroundings of the site with city cameras.

We have been working with JALUD since November 2021, communication has been fluid, and they have always helped us with any questions we have had. We are working on multiple projects for 2022 that we hope will succeed in using this new technology in the Netherlands. We are very happy to be their Dutch partner.

The JALUD Sound Event Detector is innovative and positively surprises Brazilian customers wherever it is installed. In Brazil, the main projects in which this product is being applied are related to public and private security, but it fits perfectly in the most diverse verticals of action. ABION is betting a lot on this product, and we are sure that we will bring more security to society by facilitating the response time of public security.

In my opinion the Sound Event Detector will save lives. It’s ability to detect the type of sounds you will hear in an emergency incident and quickly alert first responders so they can arrive on site and help the person/s is incredible. We’ve now gained another one of the critical “senses” (Hearing) to compliment CCTV (Eyes) and respond to dangerous events much more quickly and accurately. Well done Team JALUD!
